Release Party: Mixed at Mancos Album Available this Month!

Join the League of Women Voters of Montezuma County and Denis Boon at the Cortez Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 18 for the presentation of their informative travelogue. Tuesday, Jan. 21, the Montezuma Leadership Network is partnering with the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce to hold a lunch and learn about creating accountability within organizations. The Sunflower Theatre is screening the documentary Every Little Thing on Friday, Jan. 24 at 7:00 p.m. The Mancos Creative District is hosting a release party for the Mixed in Mancos 2024 album party on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mancos Brewing Company. Join the League of Women Voters of Montezuma County, and Montezuma Leadership Network for informational presentations on January 18th, and 21st respectively. On January 24th, the Sunflower Theater is screening the film, "Every Little Thing." On January 25th, you are invited to celebrate the release of the Mixed in Mancos album. You're watching the "Local News Roundup," brought to you by Big O Tires and Blondie's Trophy Room. I'm Connor Shreve. Join the League of Women Voters of Montezuma County, and Dennis Boone on Saturday, January 18th for the presentation of their informative travel log titled, "Chasing Hemingway Through Africa." The presentation will take place at the Cortez Public Library from 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM. On Tuesday, January 21st, the Montezuma Leadership Network is partnering with the Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce to hold a lunch and learn about creating accountability within organizations. The class will take place at the Chamber of Commerce from noon to one, and will be hosted by Angie Beal. Registration is open on the Montezuma Leadership Network website, and costs $30 with lunch included. The Sunflower Theater is showing the film, "Every Little Thing," on Friday, January 24th at 7:00 PM. The film documents a wildlife rehabbers fight to save injured hummingbirds in Los Angeles, and the lessons they taught her about fragility and resilience along the way. Tickets are $10, and are available on the Sunflower Theater website. The Mixed in Mancos 2024 album, recorded in March of 2024 is being released this month. To celebrate, the Mancos Creative District is hosting a release party Saturday, January 25th from five to 9:00 PM at Mancos Brewing Company. The album features music from the Crags, Farmington Hill, and Little Wilderness. It'll be available on vinyl, CD, and streaming services. Pre-ordered albums will be available to pick up at the party.
