The City of Cortez will host a fireworks show at Parque de Vida on July 4th, organized by the Cortez Fire Protection District, with special T-shirts available for purchase. The City of Cortez will host a Firework Show at Parque de Vida, starting at 8:30 on Thursday, July 4th. The annual show is organized by the Cortez Fire Protection District, who have a special treat for you this year. Help support their continued efforts by purchasing a special T-shirt, either online or at City Market on June 28th. If one night of fireworks isn't enough, and you're up for a bit of a drive, the City of Farmington will host their fireworks display Wednesday, July 3rd, starting at 9:25, from Sullivan Hall. Bloomfield will host their fireworks display Friday, July 5th, starting at dusk. The City of Durango Business Improvement District, Durango Chamber of Commerce, Visit Durango, and the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Event Center have collaborated to bring 30 different events, spanning July 3rd through July 6th.
