The Destination Lab Grant allows Mesa Verde Country to create and publish a free online training program to help ensure that workers are sharing the same information, providing visitors with the best possible experience. As Women’s History Month comes to a close, Mancos Public Library in collaboration with the Cloud Goddess invites you to honor 13 women from the local community on Saturday, March 30th from 3 to 5 p.m. Beginning the first week of April, the Mancos Library is facilitating an online cultural exchange program for teenagers. Colorado’s annual fishing licenses are on sale for the 2024-2025 season with a new regulation in place for Hermosa Creek. Executive Director of Mesa Verde County, Brian Bartlett, states that it's a big deal to have been selected for the grant as it was only awarded to a handful of organizations. As Women's History Month comes to a close, Mancos Public Library in collaboration with the Cloud Goddess, invites you to honor 13 women from the local community on Saturday, March 30th, from 3:00 to 5:00. The event includes mocktails, light snacks, and time to introduce and celebrate the women leaders of the community. Beginning the first week of April, the Mancos Library is facilitating an online cultural exchange program for teenagers. Participating students will be given a special assignment each week and asked to share stories and photos from their everyday lives. In addition to promoting cultural exchange and self-expression, this four-week online series also aims to develop basic digital communication skills. Colorado's annual fishing licenses are on sale for the '24, '25 season with a new regulation in place for Hermosa Creek. Colorado Parks and Wildlife states that fishing is prohibited 100 feet upstream and downstream of the fish barrier located 0.1 miles below the East Fork of Hermosa Creek Confluence.
